The main pool is 33 metres long and is an ideal place for all but the very young to swim and play. For smaller children a shallow beginners’ pool offers a safe place to learn to swim or just to enjoy, the water. Out of the water you can relax in the dry heat of a sauna. For the more energetic a fully equipped fitness room which you can use to tone up your body and improve your physique is available.

Swimming at Frome Leisure Centre offers good family fun. Here again main and beginners’ pools provide ideal facilities for all members of your family. If you prefer your activity dry, the sports hall provides an excellent venue for badminton, short-tennis, five-a-side football and basketball. Alternatively, you could try your hand at indoor bowls in the specially designed two rink bowls hall or play an energetic game of squash. A secluded and well sheltered area outside provides you with further facilities for five-a-side football and tennis throughout the year. When you have finished your activity the lounge provides an ideal place to relax with a snack whilst you watch others enjoy the facilities. The new Pulserate fitness suite offers more opportunity for healthy exercise.
