System Review and Assessment
System Review and Assessment is a usual, though not vital pre-requisite to development and implementation of a Data Based analytical system. This process provides the opportunity to assess underlying management procedures and, if necessary, provide recommendations for improvement. We are well placed to comment on the effectiveness of procedures currently in-place and allow you to derive maximum benefit from process change. For instance, speeding up a process which has inherent flaws may provide significantly less benefit than changing the process.

Re-use of code.
During the course of development some modules of our coding which may have been used in or developed for other clients may be utilised. This will generally result in lower development and testing costs for you. Where a client requires development of wholly bespoke coding, elements of which are not to be utilised in package development for other clients (implying a constraint on IPR), a premium will be charged.
Package Costs.
Costs will be based on either fixed daily rates or an agreed price for the package or part thereof, or a combination of both (capped if necessary) and may include travel and subsistence costs where appropriate. Hardware or 3rd party software costs will be detailed separately. In all cases we will seek to drive the cost down.
Milestones.
Development programmes will be broken into milestones, at which stage some specific level of functionality will have been achieved and delivered. These milestones will usually be linked to payments.
Protection and Access to Code.
Where a wholly bespoke system has been commissioned full access rights and privileges will also be provided, along with appropriate documentation. Otherwise, the right is reserved to deny access to certain elements of coding within the package. Where such access is denied, sufficient information will be provided to indicate functionality at a modular level.
Ongoing Support.
A separate, follow-on contract will usually be agreed, where ongoing support or development is required.
Fees.
For larger scale undertakings an agreed daily fee will be used for calculation or estimation of costs. This will not preclude the agreement of fixed, firm or capped costs associated with achievement of set milestones for a specific task ... we also offer a competitive small business services for minor tasking, which allows us to reduce the cost of minor jobs which are not time critical. In short, we can probably help whatever your budget.
