All of these solutions benefited from a far broader understanding of business issues than would have been available from an organisation with expertise in coding, but without managerial, process, engineering or people skills. Case Study 3 was implemented following the roll-out of a poorly conceived solution which had been unsuccessfully implemented by an organisation with insufficient skill (or will) to realise that the 'user requirement' was inadequate and that they did not understand the business requirement.
